Language
- Moving forward, the term "Regional" will now be "Sectional" to mirror TMSAA Terminology.
Fee Increase - A Boy's team will now be $60 instead of the previous $50. This is our first increase in over 10 years!
- Girl's teams and individuals fees will stay the same.
Participation - TMSAA Teams that play in the fall are eligible to play in the spring as an "independent" team.
- 8th graders that played up (practice or competition) on a high school team are not eligible to participate in the spring.
- Any non-TMSAA approved Co-ops will need to submit the Co-op forms, even if you have participated in previous years.
- The TMSGA Bylaws state that no one below the 6th grade can practice or participate as a member of a TMSGA team. Schools may be allowed to have a separate group of golfers practice as long as they do not interact with the School Team. For instance, the team can be on the range and the other group on the putting green. There shall not be any instruction that includes both groups together or indication that the 5th graders are any type of team.
Rules - No green reading materials may be used in TMSGA events.

State Championship - 18 Holes - Two Divisions - once qualified, the field will be divided into two divisions, per TMSAA
- Each Sectional will advance one Boys Team, one Girls Team and 2 boys and 2 girls not on an advancing team.
- TMSAA Champions Division - comprised of only those TMSAA schools that recognize golf and the team did not compete in the fall.
- TMSGA Champions Division - comprised of all other teams.
- Individual Champions Division - all players in the state championship are eligible for individual honors.
